The new release comes slightly over a year after the debut EP “Perreo”
Young Zagreb DJ and producer Borna Perković, better known as Percassi, released his new tape “Without You”, included in the “Moonshot 031” compilation of Baikonur Recordings.
“Without You” is an actual club dance that delivers an epic-mystical-sensual groove, and as Percassi tells us, the idea for the new tape came when he discovered an engaging vocalist. “It was around midnight when I ran into a vocalist who said “I can see it’s midnight, and I cannot live without you”. As I generally like emotive female vocals, I was immediately drawn to start making the song.”
The entire compilation, filled with productions by young producers, including our own Percassi, was supported by renowned colleagues from the scene, such as Chris Lake, Don Diablo, Jamie Jones, Paco Osuna, Sam Divine, and Marc Carola, who already supported an unreleased tape by the talented Zagreb DJ. – and the producer called “Moving in the Backroom”.
“Without You” was released at the end of the summer, which was successful for Percassi. The young DJ from Zagreb did two residencies this summer – one in Split at Club Vanilla and the other in Zadar at Opera Club, where he was a support act during numerous international tours. As Percassi tells us, he has done about 30 guest appearances and performances at the LMF festival, the Selected festival, and boat parties for Ultra Europe during the festival tour of the islands.
