THE MOST IMPORTANT PORIN MUSIC AWARD HELD

The 32nd Porin music award was presented tonight! The Mladost school sports hall was full of famous names from the Croatian music scene, and musicians and other famous faces who attended this year’s awards walked the red carpet.

Baby Lasagna, Chui, and their colleagues achieved great success at this year’s Porin, winning four Porin statues each! Three statues went to the HRT Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Ivan Repušić and his collaborators, for the album “Bersa Pejačević: Modern Reflections.”

Baby Lasagna with collaborators won Porin in the Song of the Year category for the composition “Rim Tim Tagi Dim” by Marko Purišić, then in the categories New Artist of the Year and Best Male Vocal Performance for the composition mentioned above. At the same time, Elizabeta Ružić won a Porin in the Best Video Number category specifically for “Rim Tim Tagi Dim”.

Chui and his collaborators celebrated in the Best Instrumental Album category (outside of classical and jazz music) for the album “To the Stars” by music producers Tonij Starešinić and Ivan Božanić, Marko Babić was awarded Porin for the best art design for that album, and recording masters Bojan Pahljina and Sven Pavlović and mix master Ivan Božanić received Porin in the Best Album Recording category. Chui also received the Porin in the Best Instrumental Performance category (outside of classical and jazz music) for the composition “Tvrdi sicevi” from the abovementioned album.

The HRT Symphony Orchestra and conductor Ivan Repušić and his collaborators won the Porin in the Best Classical Music Album category for the album “Bersa – Pejačević: Odrazi moderne”, music producers Krešimir Petar Pustički and Lovra Stipčević, and Best Classical Music Performance for the composition “Dora Pejačević: Symphony in F sharp minor, op. 41” from the album above. Master of recording and mixing Božidar Pandurić won Porin in the category Best recording of a classical music album precisely for the mentioned album!

Goran Bare & Majke won the Porin in the category Best Performance of a Group with Vocals for the composition “Noćas predelim rijeku” from the album Live In London, while for the same album, they won the Porin in the category Best Concert Album by music producer Mauro Širol.

With the album “I believe in miracles,” Psihomodo Pop won Porin for Album of the Year, music producer Srđan Sekulović Skansi, and Porin in the category Best Rock Music Album!

The album “Lipo mi je tu” by the group Rišpet, music producer Leo Škara, was declared the best album of pop music. In contrast, the album “Društvena privala” by Mie Dimšić, musical producers: Ivan Pešut, Ante Gelo, Bojan Šalamon Shalla, Vedran Baotić, Neno Belan and Igor Ivanović, was declared the best album of pop music. Porin for the best album of klapa music went to Klapa Dišpet for the album “Jedna ura ‘lada – pjesme iz polje” by music producer Luka Čaba. The composition “Baja” by Miroslav Škoro, composed by Miroslav Škoro and Ivica Plivelić, was declared the best edition of tambura music.

The album “Republikaj” by the group Ogenj, produced by Matej Zec, who is also the winner of Porin for Producer of the Year, was declared the best album of alternative music. The album “II” by the artist The Siids, produced by Darko Terlević, was declared the best album of electronic music.

Porin in the Best Female Vocal Performance category went to Natali Dizdar for the composition “Dobro je sve” from the album “Zadnji dan ljeta”.

Porin in the Best Vocal Collaboration category was won by Ana Širić feat. Damir Urban for the song “Everyone says I’m making it up”.

The album “Miron Hauser: Moja Kuba” by the HRT Jazz Orchestra, conductor Miron Hauser, and music producer Igor Geržina, was declared the best jazz music album. “Sail Away”, performed by Petar Ćulibrk (World’s Okayest Pianist) in collaboration with Filip Pavić, signed by Petar Ćulibrk, was declared the best piece of jazz music. Darko Jurković Charlie won a Porin for Best Jazz Performance for the composition “Cathedrals”.

The album “Apoxyomenos Recomposed”, performed by Tamara Obrovac (voice) and Stefan Battaglia (piano), and produced by Tamara Obrovac and Igor Ilić, was declared the best world music album.

The composition “Acumal, for a guitar trio” by the performer Trio Elogio, author Bruno Vlahek, was declared the best classical music composition. In contrast, Porin for the Best Classical Music Album Production went to Krešimir Stražanac for the album “Blagoje Bersa: Lieder / Songs”, performer: Krešimir Stražanac, bass – baritone; Krešimir Starcevic, piano.

The album “Kišni razdraganci 2”, performed by Ivanko & Mrla, music producer Matej Zec, was declared the best album for children.

The album “16th Great Rock Explosion” by Tomislav Kralj was declared the best album with various artists.

This year, the Porin lifetime achievement statues went to singer-songwriter Mera Cetinić and composer Zlatko Tanodi!

The live broadcast began with a performance by the Dirty Theater, and Danijela Trbović and Ivan Vukušić guided us through the entire award ceremony. After the Dirty Theatre, on the beautiful stage signed by Miro Hrg, Ana Širić feat. Damir Urban, Pavel, Antonela Doko, Tonči Grabušić Quartet, Martin Kosovec, Krešimir Stražanac and Krešimir Starčević, Vanna & Sergej, Nina Corić & Balkan Zoo, Chui, Psihomodo Pop and Mia Dimšić.

In the role of presenters at the 32nd awarding ceremony of Porin, the following were the mayor of the city of Karlovac, Mr. Damir Mandić, prefect of Karlovac County, Mrs. Martina Furdek – Hajdin, Frano Đurović, president of the Board of Directors of the Porin music award, then Saša Lozar, Indira Levak, Željko Bebek, Matija Dedić, Lu Dedić, Ivanka Boljkovac, Bojana Gregorić Vejzović, Sandra Bagarić, Martina Validžić, Filip Glavaš, Zvonimir Srna, Tommi Mischell, Neno Belan, Damir Martinović Mrle, Baby Lasagna and the firemen of Karlovac, Mateo Trop and Tin Butala, who won first place at the UAE Rescue and Ambulance Teams Challenge 2025, organized by the Dubai Police in collaboration with the World Rescue Organization (WRO)!

The director of the award was Saša Broz, the broadcast director was Ivan Miladinov, and the music producer was Ivan Popeskić.
